Thoughts from the fry-cook...
It's funny where inspiration comes from. There we were, sitting at our favorite work-week lunch hotspot. And in the corner of the diner sat a lonely little whiteboard that featured a great quote that I will now share with you. "When travelling down a road, it's best to seek advice from those on their way back." I find this extremely insightful. It seems that most people have a need to experience things for themselves. I think we've all done that a time or two. As I get older though, I wonder why we do this, especially if we have access to others who have been through a similiar situation. I would think that you'd want all the info/help/perspectives you can get. Somewhere in all that could be a hidden nugget of truth that makes some sense out of whatever it is you are going through. I say tap your resources, people! I went in for a turkey melt and came out with words of wisdom. A daily special indeed.
